Dork, by definition

noun; Someone who's love has not yet grown cold enough to support a false image of themselves as always being poised and in control of every situation. Someone who is unable to consistently counterfeit a "been there done that," attitude in the face of new and wonder filled situations. Someone who when alone with those they love refuses to act as though they have just met in order to preserve everyone's false sense of dignity. They are not "tough" or "cool" or "hard," and no one would ever mistake them for a movie star. They show a distinct inability to take the human creature, and all of its nonsense, with the same gravity and seriousness as those around them do. They persevere in this lack of decorum even after repeated threats and warnings by the well meaning that they will never "make it" if they won't fall in line.
